With increasing focus on the cost of hospital acquired infections, it is more important than ever to have a robust decontamination system in place. Our patented iHP decontamination technology provides a 6-log room and surface sterilisation of biological organisms including KPC, CRE, VRE, C-Diff and other multi-drug resistant organisms.
We provide a rapid same-day call-out service and have the resources to decontaminate your room and return it for admissions in a matter of hours.
The following images show just a small selection of the type of rooms that we regularly decontaminate with hydrogen peroxide in a healthcare environment. A common feature is that all the complex medical equipment is left in the room for the duration of the process and receives a 6-log surface decontamination.
Intensive Care Rooms
It was discovered that one of the patients was KPC positive so he was transferred to an isolation room while the other 4 patients in the ward were monitored as KPC-contacts.
All patients were decanted from the ward and a deep clean performed using the hydrogen peroxide fogging process.
The smaller photos show the hydrogen peroxide sterilant being delivered to the room as a dry mist.
